I adopted Murrie a long time ago. I'm guessing it was about 1992. She was a handfed stripmall petstore cockatiel. Murrie was my first non-parakeet. I think that there were seven parakeets in my life before Murrie. Murr is very very friendly and very dependent upon people for attention. We are inseparable when she is out of her cage. In the fall of 1998 I converted little Miss Millet Head to Kaytee Exact pellets. In the spring of 1999 she laid 10 eggs. I still wonder if the improved diet got her body into shape enough to set off the egg laying thing. (July 18, 2000)
